Friends don't steal from friends. Or, that's the theory anyway. A 28-year-old guy in Englewood, Colorado, nearly dies after managing to get stuck in an air conditioning vent for 15 hours--all after stealing a friend's purse.

Rescued alive but very dusty, a guy was in an air-conditioning vent for over half a day -- discovered by police who responded to call from help that were arriving from the roof of an elementary school. The fool had managed to get himself trapped 30 feet down in the air vent.
Emergency fire crews had to cut the air conditioning vent to yank him out.

The guy told police he'd stolen a friend's purse the night prior, and thrown it on the elementary school's rooftop. Trying to retrieve the stolen purse, he'd climbed onto the roof -- where he then fell and became wedged in the air conditioning vent.

It appears things in life really do come full circle.
