A German man faces 3 years in jail--arrested by police for a Nazi cellular phone ringtone--after fellow train passengers notified police of the mobile phone’s ring. The arrested man possessed Adolf Hitler’s picture taken in front of a swastika, Nazi stickers and original Hitler speech as a ringtone.

German police seized the cellular phone of a 54-year-old man at Harburg station in Germany—after other train passengers alerted police when they were shocked at the sound of Hitler screaming--passengers on the train destined for Hamburg told German police they heard the cell’s ringtone multiple times. The cell phone’s ringtone was a speech originally given by Hitler and which included the threat of "the destruction of world Jewry" if Germany was "dragged" into war.

“It was an original speech by Adolf Hitler which ended with the phrase ‘Sieg Heil’,” says police spokesman Ruediger Carstens. “He [the German man] also had a photo of Hitler standing in front of a swastika.” German police seized swastika stickers and a photo of Hitler with the words, "The greatest commander of all time”.

Under German law, the man faces six months--up to three years--in prison or a fine. The cellular ringtone, stickers and photo in the man's possession are in direct violation of the German constitution--which prohibits public displays of Nazi works or any public support of Nazism.
