Florida Stripper Stripped of Hundreds in Tips in Night Club Lap Dance

It ain’t right: a stripper’s been stripped of a bundle, a Florida guy charged with grand theft at a topless strip club--after stripping cash tips totaling hundreds from a club dancer’s garter belt.

A ‘Fantasy's at the Beach’ Florida-based nude dancer says that a 19-year-old visitor to the Fort Myers-area club had claimed he wanted a lap dance, but needed to go home first and retrieve money to pay for the dance.

The close interaction and first meeting seems to have aided the guy in “casing the joint”: the exotic dancer had a wad of cash strapped in a garter belt. It was just a few minutes later when the club patron seemed to decide on a more immediate lap dance and – in that proximity – the stripper says she felt her garter belt snap.

It was a “snap-and-run,” the strip club patron jumping up and running out of the night club.

Tipping out her boss proved somewhat lucky for the stripper who, having just paid the ‘house’ manager a percentage, happened to know exactly how much cash she’d had remaining: $314 bucks, before the cash was stripped.

Here’s where it doesn’t pay to be a “frequent flyer”: as it turns out, the accused ‘Fantasy's at the Beach’ patron turned out to be a strip club regular, known as “Ronnie.” As luck would have it, a fellow dancer at the club just happened to know the home location – which the stripper was able to provide to police -- for the man later identified as Ronnie Menard.
