Casey Anthony Bullet Through Forehead Death Threats in Jail Release

In The News

Casey Anthony's not even out of jail yet--she won't be released until July 16. The accused murderer may have gotten off with a jury trial acquittal in court but her meeting with the outside world may be very different. Anthony is right if she fears for her life: Someone wants a bullet through her forehead -- and someone else has already tried to run 'her' off the road.

Rage continues to grow with public sentiment that is not too fond of Casey Anthony, the woman accused of killing her own 2-year-old child, Caylee, before being legally acquitted of murder and child neglect charges by a Florida jury on July 5, 2011. Many believe Anthony's actually guilty of the crimes -- in an acquittal that much of the national public views as a lack of justice on par with the O.J. Simpson case, the man generally believed to be a murderer who got off scot-free in the double murder and death of ex-wife Nicole Simpson. The common belief: She did in fact kill her 2-year old daughter. And parts of the public may be intent on their own form of 'justice'.

It was just days ago that a confused member of the public -- a woman who incorrectly assumed Anthony had already been released from the Orange County, Florida, jail after the July 5 jury verdict -- followed and attacked a Casey Anthony lookalike in Oklahoma on July 8. The victim of the July 8, 2011, attack was a store clerk in Oklahoma. The young convenience store clerk was literally slammed while trying to get home after work, her car rolled two and one-half times when the store customer rammed her vehicle multiple times on an Oklahoma road.

Security experts say Casey Anthony needs to be released in the middle of the night to protect her -- since, apparently, nut jobs aren't going to be paying attention during those wee hours. Experts who want to ensure the accused murderer's protection say Anthony needs to be whisked away to to a safe house, where she should remain for days or even weeks in order to ensure her physical protection.

While the jail says, “This will not be a usual release," according to rep Allen Moore, and cops have claimed there won't be extra measures other than some standard ones from the jail where Anthony's held, that is and isn't true: In an unusual turn of events surrounding a jail inmate's release, only three journalists will actually be allowed inside the correctional facility before Anthony is let out of jail. Those journalists will be placed, to wait, in a secure area of the jail late July 15 or very early July 16 -- effectively cut off from outside access while awaiting Anthony's physical release from the Orange County facility.

The jail's also refusing to say when Casey Anthony will physically be released from the Florida jail -- an unusual withholding of information to the public. If cops say it's the norm, not quite.

“Due to the high-profile nature of this [Casey Anthony murder] case and intense, emotional interest by the public, appropriate measures will be taken to release the individual into the community in such a manner so as to preserve the safety of the individual and public.”

But that's apparently where it's going to end -- or at least what law enforcement says. Cops don't seem to have any more sympathy for the accused murderer than the general public. "We're not going to be her personal security," says Orange County Sheriff Jerry Demings in Florida during the July 12 press conference pertaining to the murder case and inmate.

Casey Anthony’s legal team has already received threats for its accused murderer: An emailed threat included a modified photo of Casey Anthony -- complete with a bullet hole through her forehead in the pic.

Jurors in the Casey Anthony murder trial aren't ranking so high, with the general public, either. They may be running scared after this case -- possibly rightfully so. But, at least for the jurors, there's 12 (plus an alternate or two) that makes them a bit harder to easily identify. The Oklahoma woman couldn't even get Anthony herself rightfully identified before allegedly attacking 'her'.

Facebook pages related to the Anthony murder trial proliferate: 'Fan' pages like “Casey Anthony Jury Sucks” and “The Jury Failed Caylee” continue to pop up and gain popularity, while one juror wisely quit her job and has (at least temporarily) gone into hiding. She may be the smartest one in this scenario. Facebook posts about Casey Anthony include comments or threats that include: "I know it's bad, God Forgive me, but i hope someone wipes that smirk off her face -- with a mack truck," wrote one "I Hate Casey Anthony" Facebook Fan.

Another "I Hate Casey Anthony" Facebook page fan doesn't seem to be too happy about the prospect that Casey Anthony can -- and probably will -- profit in cash from lucrative interviews, books and movie deals related to Anthony's daughter's death. That Facebook user apparently won't be supporting any Casey Anthony profit related to two-year-old Caylee's death -- that the only thing she'd pay to see or read would be about "Casey Anthony's dead body." The theme of bullets seems to prove popular: That Facebook page features the Casey Anthony mug shot with a bulls eye target on her forehead -- and a caption reading, "Hey, Casey, I'd watch out if I were you, just sayin'."

Casey Anthony jurors have proved less popular yet as the idea is raised that those in the jury trial may also profit off the murder case and trial verdict -- similarly to the jury involved with the high-profile Scott Peterson murder trial of 2004, where several jurors later joined forces in authoring a book related to the Peterson murder case.

At this point, the most popular figure in the Florida murder trial may be the TGI Friday's server who flipped off a Casey Anthony prosecutor in court. It appears his jail sentence -- of about six days, for giving the Florida state lawyer 'the finger' -- is harsher than the jail sentence of Anthony herself. She's already slated for July 16 jail release.

Sergeant John Allen has issued what amounts to a public warning at a news conference: The officer sends out a reminder: “a lot of people have strong sentiments about the outcome," says officer Allen, but "nobody has the right to take the law into their own hands.” He may as well not bother. If someone's already sending a pic of a bullet hole through Anthony's forehead, a reminder's not going to be too effective in the mind of the person who seeks to set things 'right'.

Many aren't aware that, while Casey Anthony escaped a murder conviction, the mother did actually get busted on some other charges: Anthony has been convicted on four counts of lying to investigators, garnering her a legal sentence of four years in jail. Ironically, Anthony's already being released from jail in July 2011 -- despite that conviction and supposed four-year sentence. The accused murderer's getting an early release based on time served in pre-trial detention -- plus good behavior.

Casey Anthony's lawyer -- attorney J. Cheney Mason, the man who once said he thought of Anthony as a granddaughter, says he doesn't know what life holds in store for his client. But apparently the Defense lawyer wishes Anthony well: "She [Casey Anthony] is only 25 years old. A decade from now, hopefully, she'll have some stability in her life and maybe a husband, and they can be somewhere in Montana and start over," says Anthony's lawyer.

Yeah, and that future husband better sleep with one eye open -- and be sterile. Or he just might wind up like the guy in another Orange County -- the one in California where a woman chopped off her husband's penis and threw it in the garbage disposal after using a ten-inch blade for the fast slice. She'd allegedly drugged him prior. End result, she turned on the appliance.
