Miss Michigan USA, Rima Fakih, has been crowned Miss USA 2010 in Las Vegas-amid rapidly circulating photos of the 24-year-old Beauty Queen as 'stripper' in a pole-dancing competition.
In the Meantime, Fox News has flooded insinuations that Miss Oklahoma's Morgan Elizabeth Woolard, as first runner-up in the Pageant, was slighted because of her pro-Arizona immigration stance. Woolard provided pro-Arizona immigration reply in her answer given in the interview section of the pageant's competition. Hints that an Arab-American immigrant, with Rima Fakih born in Lebanon, was less deserving of the Miss USA 2010 crown has served to create another scandal-in-the-making; photos of the newly-crowned Rima Fakih in a 2007 pole dancing “stripper” competition now circulate.
With the previous "stripper" competition and pole-dancing scandal comes the inevitable: Will Rima Fakih be stripped of her Miss USA 2010 crown? The pole dancing pictures are everywhere, partially thanks to the TMZ website which pushed Fakih's pole-dancing to national exposure. Detroit radio program “Mojo In The Morning” actually first posted the pictures, since the radio show sponsored the “Stripper 101″ pole dancing competition back in 2007 in which Fakih competed and appeared. Apparently, Rima Fakih was so good in the pole-dancing competition that she won a pole of her own, part of the prize package that included jewelry, gift cards and adult toys. Pictures show Rima Fakih in various poses, dancing around the pole, dressed in red shorts and a light blue top.
Donald Trump is said to be investigating and it's unclear Fakih will suffer a similar fate to Carrie Prejean or 'fired' by Trump fom her corporate position as Miss USA. As an interesting twist, the Miss USA 2010 Pageant included lingerie photos and videos as part of the year’s competition.
