The Los Angeles Police Department may have flaws. But when officers do something outrageously right, credit is deserved. At least six LAPD officers work together as heroes--to drag a suicidal man who's already falling over the building--back onto a rooftop in a video 13 stories high. Determined to jump, the suicidal man bites a female officer's, a woman who continues to hang on.

In a rooftop scene captured on July 29 video, a suicidal man dangled from the thirteenth story of a Los Angeles building when fast-thinking officers handcuffed the man to a rooftop railing -- an act which literally saved his life on July 29.
 
The Los Angeles Police Department needed some good PR. LAPD's heroism in saving a suicidal man, determined to die, occurred less than 48 hours after the same law enforcement agency questionably sent LAPD cops dressed for riot to a once-peaceful Electric Daisy movie premiere and public spin by DJ Kaskade in Hollywood.
 
A young L.A. man who had just broken up with his girlfriend was distraught and determined to jump from the rooftop when Los Angeles Police Department officers -- and a building security guard who reportedly kept the man from jumping before officers arrived to help -- literally drag the man back onto the building, July 29. One officer was able to handcuff the man long enough to keep from falling. Police officers balanced on one another and worked together to successfully, finally yank the man back to safety. Through it all, a female LAPD officer (blonde in the video) -- on the force for four years, maintained a grip that kept the man alive as he sunk his teeth into her arm. Determined to jump to his death, the man literally bit the female officer's arm in efforts to make police officers release him -- and sinking his teeth into a woman who simply wouldn't let go.
