FAA Suspects Skydiving Pilot Distracted in Plane Sex Video of CA Skydive Employees

Apparently all kinds of things go on in Taft (CA)--or such a lack of things that it literally takes in-air sex tape video to garner a spot in the news. The FAA investigates a skydiving pilot after video by a self-proclaimed porn star-slash-skydive instructor is shot in the plane. The instructor wants Howard Stern’s attention badly. Alex Torres has garnered attention, but it must suck to realize your 'stardom' is limited to school kids.

The FAA wants to know if a flying pilot was distracted by a skydiving instructor and school receptionist having sex in a plane over Kern County in California. "Skydive-Taft" owner David Chrouch sure better hope the FAA doesn't find that to be the case. There was sex inside a plane operated by the skydiving company, and (supposedly) sex in the air that occurred during a jump. Since no one believes the latter, it will probably prove far less of a problem for the instruction school than the first part: The Skydive instructor, a self-proclaimed porn star, was having sex with a school employee. Surprising. Or, rather, the receptionist. Not surprising. The pair decided to do it in a plane as a publicity stunt. Not surprisingly stupid.

Instructor Alex Torres was booted after the incident though, strangely, the involved skydiving school's receptionist Hope Howell has not been fired by the instruction school. That part's a little inexplicable -- or entirely explainable. Perhaps the 'somehow' is better left alone.

The in-air sex video shows the two skydiving employees engaged in sex in a plane, right before they jump in tandem. Supposedly they continue the sex act during the jump. Right. The look on the receptionist's face is apparently supposed to serve as proof of that sex in 'flight'. If Torres is a porn star, Howell appears to be an aspiring one.

If it all sounds like a ploy, it's a rather depressing and desperate one. Reportedly the 'successful' porn star, Torres, arranged the stunt while trying to get the attention of good ol' Howard Stern. It's unclear why he wanted Stern's attention so desperately. Sad and pathetic rank among the best descriptors.

Apparently the pilot was the victim in the whole scenario -- or at least according to the Skydive-Taft owner's version of events. That poor, dumb pilot just didn't see it coming. The hours were early, no one was around, and the instructor and receptionist gave him the ok. The pilot was apparently led astray, the poor, duped guy. That would be the poor, duped guy that probably deserves to have his license yanked -- since everyone else deserves to have their in-air safety compromised by a fool stupid enough to fly a plane while watching two employees have sex. Commercial pilots are missing out.

It seems the FAA suspects the pilot’s attention may not have been entirely focused on his job. That suspicion seems to pertain to video footage showing the skydiving instructor and school receptionist, engaged in sex, in a jump seat adjacent to the pilot -- in the course of a flight. The guy doesn't seem to be entirely focused on his task, though the Skydive-Taft owner claims otherwise. Chrouch claims he had no concern about safety and the pilot who was flying during the sex video. According to the Skydive-Taft owner, the pilot maintained complete control at all times. Of course ‘control,’ and the plane not taking a nosedive while in flight, is a separate issue than whether or not the pilot’s attention may have been dangerously diverted.

As to the fact the pilot who routinely looked back during the sex video shoot, the Skydive-Taft owner claims it's the same behavior of any pilot. In fact he says pilots routinely look around “to see what everyone is doing.” That must be the reason commercial pilots enjoy cockpits – because they're supposed to be turning around, to see what’s going on in the rest of the plane.

The supposed porn star, Torres, took down the sex video from his blog -- very shortly after posting the video that would make him famous (and stupid). He didn't rip down the footage because servers were overwhelmed due to popular demand. No, more like because he probably wasn't looking forward to any legal issues. And, it seems, the sex video may not have had quite the audience Torres was seeking. Howard Stern didn't end up as a great admirer. And neither did anyone else -- or, rather, anyone of adult age. It must be rather depressing to learn your following, when your goal is to be a star, consists of a bunch of school kids. It seems a Taft cop discovered the video footage was circulating a local California school loaded with kids. It’s all pathetically stupid.

But, if Skydive-Taft tanks, at least the owner's got his secretary -- or, technically, 'receptionist'.
