How to use the Technorati claim token

When claiming a blog from Technorati TARK7TE43B5X you will need to claim your blog so how do you do this?
1. Go to http://technorati.com and create an account.
2. Scroll to the bottom and click on "Start a blog claim"
3.Enter your blog or website url here.
4.Technorati will send you an email that reads

"This is an automatically-generated email. Thank you for submitting your blog claim on Technorati. Technorati will need to verify that you are an author of the site http://www.wacktrap.com by looking for a unique code. We have just assigned the claim token TARK7TE43B5X to this claim. Please visit http://technorati.com/account/ for more details, including how to use the claim token. Thank you."

So I clicked on the link and did not realize we needed to do something special and it returned the message unable to verify token so we went searching .

5. In order to verify, you need to create a post that shows up on the homepage that includes your Technorati token. Post your content
6. Return back to http://technorati.com/account and click "check claim" and you should be done. Hopefully, at some point Technorati will come up with a different site verification method like Google and Yahoo have like upload an html document etc instead of actually needing to post a piece of content, but hey it is what it is and IT is done!
