White Castle hamburgers believes it’s got an aphrodisiac for slider enthusiasts. The burger chain’s created a special edition candle—to waft all the nuances of its famous sliders, through every room of your home.

The White Castle fast-food burger chain is hawking burger-scented candles in honor of the hamburger company’s self-proclaimed “National Hamburger Month”. Now customers can enjoy the flame-broiled scent in every room of their home.

The White Castle candle is packaged in a rectangular ceramic holder—just like the cardboard box of the White Castle Slider sandwiches, less the ceramic. Available for $10 bucks apiece, net proceeds for the White Castle candles are a fundraiser for Autism Speaks.

Nest Fragrances, a New York candle purveyor, typically designs luxury bath products for companies that include Christian Dior and Vera Wang. This time it's working with White Castle, to create the perfect slider in wax--for the burger chain's autism fundraiser.

"The [White Castle ] candle has a top note of diced sweet onions and crisp pickle, the middle notes are beef patty, cheese and ketchup, and bottom note is a warm burger bun. It all comes together to create this amazing aroma of a White Castle Slider."

The White Castle candles have been such a hit, the burger company is working to have more manufactured—but customers need to sign up online for a company wait list (at the attached link). White House will notify customers when its slider candles arrive back in stock for purchase.

"We thought we had a two- month supply for online sales [for the autism fundraiser], but they were gone in 48 hours," said Jamie Richardson, VP of corporate and government relations at White Castle. He projects the hamburger company will raise more than $50,000 for the nonprofit Autism Speaks organization by the time the fundraising event ends.

Just one question: do autistic people love White Castle hamburgers?
