When you return home to discover a strange man in your house, you inevitably call 911 — but what do you do when the intruder does the same, phoning police from the house's bathroom shower?
The intruder phoned 911 to tell police that he’d broken into a home before the Oregon state home's owner arrived – apparently believing it wisest to phone 911 for assistance, in case the home’s owner had a gun.
The intruder was in a bathroom shower -- and had actively been showering – when met by the home's baffled owner and two German shepherd dogs. Inquiring as to what the man in his home was doing, the intruder proceeded to lock the bathroom door and phone 911 himself, while the owner simultaneously did the same.
The 24-year-old Portland intruder was booked into jail for investigation of first-degree criminal trespass.
No word on the intruder's desire for cleanliness.
