Lindsay Lohan Bail Doubles When Alcohol Bracelet Goes Off

Lindsay Lohan's got new bail, $200,000 of it, after the actress' alcohol monitoring bracelet recently went off--actress could be ordered back to jail if found in Court violation.
 
Lohan recently attended MTV Movie Awards and at least one after-party related to the event.
 
A Judge doubled actress Lindsay Lohan's bail amount from $100,000 to $200,000 after Lohan allegedly violated terms of her release. Judge Marsha Revel deemed that actress Lohan's bail should be raised after the Court received results from the court-ordered alcohol monitoring bracelet. It is unclear whether the alcohol monitoring devices is actually 100% accurate or could go off in error.
 
Judge Revel could order immediate revocation of the 23-year-old actress’ bai, sending Lohan to jail if the Judge determines Lohan violated the conditions of her Court-allowed release.
 
It's not yet known what caused Lohan's alcohol monitoring bracelet to go off, but attorneys on both sides say they are awaiting information about the bracelet. The alcohol monitoring bracelet is designed to test the skin for alcohol every half-hour by sampling a person's perspiration,with built-in sensors to monitor for tampering.
 
Lindsay Lohan appeared at MTV's Movie Awards Sunday, and AP says the actress attended at least one of MTV's after-parties. It's not yet known when the bracelet monitoring went off, but Lohan's bail doubled regardless.
 
Upon her return from Cannes, France, Lohan appeared in Court where Judge Revel issued that mandatory drug testing of the actress occur in addition to the alcohol-monitoring bracelet requirement. Lohan has been on probation since August 2007 after a guilty plea to drug charges and a no contest plea to three driving charges related to Influence, and Lohan must now continue to wear the monitoring device until a July Court hearing.
