You'll Shoot Your Eye Or TV Out Shotgun Blast Over Bristol Palin Dancing

For some, Bristol Palin’s dancing really is “that bad”--and the "you'll shoot your eye out" warning didn't stop a man who used a shotgun to blast his TV after the dance. Many “Dancing with the Stars” viewers are irate over the younger Palin's inexplicable dance floor success, one disgruntled fan of the tv show takes it another level.
 
Town of Vermont, Wisconsin, viewer Steven N. Cowan shot his television set with a gun—an actual shotgun--apparently as “payback” for what he found to be an offensive lack of fancy footwork displayed by Bristol Palin in the November 15 tv show’s semifinals performance.
 
It all happened even before Palin progressed in the show, to beat out Brandy for a spot in the finals of “Dancing with the Stars”. That fact may have proved good for Cowan’s wife, that the man was already in police custody by that point—or she could’ve been the next unfortunate target. “(Cowan’s wife) Janice reported that she was on the couch in the living room, watching television,” the police complaint reads.
 
“The ‘Dancing With the Stars’ show came on at 7:00 p.m. Janice estimated that at approximately 7:30 p.m., Sarah Palin’s daughter was dancing [during the semifinals]. Steven jumped up and swore, saying something to the effect of, 'The f---ing politics.'
 
Steven was upset that a political figure’s daughter was dancing on this particular [“Dancing with the Stars”] show when Steven did not think she [Bristol Palin] was a good dancer.”
 
Those “f---ing politics” may continue to prove a mighty thorn in Cowan’s side as arraignment approaches, and a legal battle begins. In the meantime, it’s apparently not just Sarah Palin whom could consider services of a bodyguard.
