Christmas spirit and the need to go “green” have apparently struck early as two California robbers successfully rip off a Shell gas station -- using only a three-foot tree branch limb.
The California gas station robbery proves the most environmentally-friendly to date: a man first entered the Trabuco Road Shell gas station, inquiring about buying some tires. While the lone station clerk was apparently not on 'high alert', a second guy came into the Shell station with the tree branch limb.
The second robber threatened the Shell gas station clerk with the tree branch. Surveillance video of the Shell gas station robbery proves the tree branch holder was no joke with his "swing" -- appearing very adept at the sport of baseball and use of wood.
The total take in the Trabuco Shell station robbery: a few hundred bucks plus packs of cigarettes. Despite full surveillance video which contains extremely clear shots of the Shell gas station robbers, Irvine police seem to still be lacking in figuring out “who done it”.
The pair of robbers has been dubbed the “Green Bandits,” for its renewable resource use in weaponry.
