Kansas City Man Claims Sexual Assault of Children on Being a Bad Tickler

26-year-old Mark Thomas is already in jail, awaiting prosecution on a separate sodomy charge that involves a six-year-old girl,  a sexual assault police believe occurred less than one month ago by the man. Mark Thomas has now been charged with sodomizing another child -- a four-year-old girl who police believe was sexually assaulted in a hotel room.
 
Court documents say Kansas City, Missouri, resident Mark Thomas has told police he was just a "bad tickler" and that his finger slipped.
 
It's one of the most unsettling or even paralyzing topic for parents, but one of the most important. According to 'Family Watchdog' (familywatchdog.us), a website specializing in identifying registered sex offenders and child molesters:
 
"1 of 5 girls and 1 of 6 boys will be molested before their 18th birthday, 90% of all sexual assaults against children are committed by someone known by the victim, the typical sexual predator will sexually assault 117 times before being caught -- and the re-arrest rate for convicted child molesters is 52%."
