Meet one of the world's hottest new fashion designers: He's got wants for Paris and Milan runway shows. Amazingly, Christoper Abella is an 11-year-old boy--but age doesn't mean anything to the boy dedicated to designing couture gowns. He's going to be the world's next biggest fashion designer. He's that passionate, and he's that good.

This 11 year-old fashion designer isn't from Paris. He's from North Bay Village, not the likeliest home for prodigies that are going to rock the fashion world. But talent is talent -- and this guy's talented. Just a week ago Christopher and three adult fashion designers presented 8 of his own couture dresses, designed entirely by the 11-year-old, in a fashion show at Trios on the Bay.

CBS4’s Lisa Petrillo wore one of Abella's hottest runway creations, an iridescent gold formal gown he'd designed just for her after she'd met with him at The Doral Conservatory and School for the Arts. The formal wasn't just so-so, it was stellar: “I felt like a movie star,” says Petrillo. Abella even created and presented his first bridal gown with an incredibly detailed bodice.

Christopher Abella is one-of-kind and the world can count on him transforming the world of fashion. Project manager Katharine Biscardi first helped Abella take his natural talent for drawing the human form and fashion designs to the physical world of transferring those images and sketches into reality. Abella's runway-ready dresses are breathtakingly beautiful.

Last week's fashion show was the 11-year-old's first foray into runway shows, but it wont' be his last. He's destined to be an international phenom -- and he's destined for the international hot spots: “I want to travel to New York to be in fashion week and in Miami, I want to go to Paris, Italy and everywhere– I want to make Miami right up there in the fashion world” says Christopher Abella.

Without doubt, he will.

If it sounds absurd that an 11-year-old boy could be so talented in sketching, designs and fabrics that he's already creating couture evening dresses and bridal gowns for women, it is. In a fabulous way. And he just may have a partner in that pursuit -- or a counterpart.

Meet Cecilia Cassini: The 10-year-old fashion designer's already sold to celebrities and appeared on the Today Show with Matt Lauer.

Looks like a whole new world of fashion is under way.
