Celebrating the anniversary of a class of fifth graders in Elk Grove, California, who received a shocking crash course on the birds and the bees when their teacher accidentally slipped an x-rated home video in place of a DVD of classroom memories.
Oh, what a classroom memory she made...
The teacher's error, unfortunately for her, was not caught until after the DVDs were distributed to the students and their families. Parents of students told the news that the woman is a good teacher, making an honest but embarrassing mistake. The X-rated DVD starts with a menu screen that displays various school trips and functions. Click on a menu screen option and "you see kids in a classroom sharing stories. They then start clapping and the video suddenly cuts to sex."
Whoops...
The students' teacher, according to CBS News, called one family's home the day after the DVD was sent, apologizing profusely, "asking the man and his wife to call every parent they knew, to stop their kids from also seeing the DVD too." "All she [the teacher] could say was that it was a horrible mix up," said a father of one of the students. While CBS said the local school district was investigating the case, it's unlikely that the teacher, well-liked and respected at the school, will lose her job. Just goes to show how far personality will take you... School officials issued statement that a new, more appropriate, DVD was slated to be sent to students.
Hmmm....maybe after one DVD, there's times to remedy the fix through another method. Wouldn't want one of the principal...
