TSA Has New Message for Sex Toys Agent Note on Vibrator Says Get Your Freak On Girl

It’s not against TSA rules to fly with a vibrator though the Transportation Security Administration does request that batteries be removed from all sex toys before screenings, to avoid triggering security equipment and an alert that pops up to screening agents. One frequent flier got surprised by something extra allegedly contained in her luggage—a note from TSA that reads “Get your freak on, girl.”

Traveler Jill Filipovic is a writer. The woman was flying out of Newark, New Jersey, in the U.S. and bound for Dublin, Ireland, on an international flight. She’s made the discovered note, which she claims a TSA agent left in her bag, public after finding it upon arrival in Ireland. TSA performed a routine -- and what seems to be an unattended -- inspection of the woman's bag, which Filipovic says resulted in a handwritten message scrawled up one side of the official inspection notice that was later found taped to the vibrator.

While Filipovic says she “died laughing” after finding the note in a hotel room while unpacking, she also finds it to be a violation of privacy – citing the incident a “total violation of privacy, wildly inappropriate and clearly not ok” – but apparently ok enough to create some material for the writer, a blogger for website ‘Feministe’. The airport security incident has set in motion an investigation by the TSA. And it’s all prompted a valid point by the blogger, who later titled a post: “Your tax dollars at work,” after first making an announcement via Twitter. It appears some TSA agent may have a little extra time on their hands.
