Londoner Joe Cooper nearly lost a testicle in a charity fundraiser—the 24-year-old agonized over an “intimate beauty waxing” event at a pub that cost him 6 of 7 layers of skin-- proving that drinking and waxing do not mix. “I'd never do it again. I wouldn't put any man through that pain,” of the biking waxing event (and ensuing testicle crisis), Cooper later told British papers. Cooper plus 10 friends agreed to undergo the waxing for charity fundraising--to raise cash for a local hospital. He might as well have been raising funds for his own hospital emergency medical services. The other 10 fundraiser participants only had their chests waxed, while Cooper endured the "male Brazilian”. The problem: instead of a professional performing the "male Brazilian” waxing job, pub locals instead placed bids for the honor of pulling wax strips off of the charity participants that were involved in the fundraising event. At a pub in Birstall, Leicester, (England) Cooper had a waxing strip stick to a sensitive area down under—followed by a bad “pull” of the waxing strip yanked off by one of his friends (or former friends). The result: The wax strip tore off six out of seven layers of skin in Cooper’s “bikini” area, aka testicle. The pub manager told England’s media, “Joe's a bit of a clown, he likes to do things like that,” the pub manager said. "People were bidding quite a lot to have a rip. I was laughing but I did feel quite sorry for him [Cooper], especially as we had a disco later on and he couldn't walk." Poor sonofabitch. It certainly gives new meaning to "Pub Crawl".
