Bengals pro football receiver Chad Ochocinco has been pushing his newly-released breakfast grub—touting his new cereal dubbed “OchocincO's”. The cereal’s introduction has definitely made intended, or unintended, headlines: callers who try to reach the “ Feed the Children” charity listed on the box backside will reach a phone sex operator who isn’t working for charity, and isn’t working for free, but will take ‘donations’ in the amount of $2.99 per minute. Apparently someone was sidetracked by all those ‘o’ in “OchocincO's”. The telephone number for a charity, on the box, included misplaced zeros in place of eights—and, oh, how a couple of digits can change the dynamic. The crucial misprint on the cereal box—a listed telephone number of 1-800-HELP-FTC--reaches an explicit phone sex operator, informing callers that they can "talk live with a nasty girl who'll do anything [they] want for only $2.99 a minute." For those that want to reach the intended charity, some eights are needed in place of those ‘o’s: Feed the Children can be reached at 1-888-HELP-FTC. Ochocinco’s told Cincinatti media that the phone sex number is an error, being fixed—and claims no responsibility. Interestingly, however, just days ago, Ochocinco told his 1.3 million Twitter followers to "order my cereal OCHOCINCOs, “start your day with li’l suga!!!” The previously unheard-of grub has had a spike in popularity since the coincidental “error”.
