No "bells and whistles" for Sarah Palin--it's all "bells and shots" as Palin describes Paul Revere's ride and place in history with the unique spin that only she can provide.
In the WHDH Channel 7 News video clip, Palin says Paul Revere "warned the British that they weren't gonna be takin' away our arms by ringin' those bells" and "rode his horse through town to send those warning shots and bells."
Some historians argue Palin's version isn't completely inaccurate but that the politician still needs a bit of a history lesson--while others remain miffed by what they say were lanterns, not bells, that served as a warning.
The video is well worth the 30 seconds of humor as Palin "remembers" the journey of Paul Revere. There's a whole lot of "shots and bells" that continue to ring, at least for Palin. And no one's takin' away those damn arms--not if she's got anything to say about it.
