A stripper in Quakertown (that's right, Quakertown), Pennsylvania, is facing Insurance Fraud charges after police say she worked as a stripper while collecting Worker's Compensation payments.
The state Attorney General's office said 43-year-old Christina Gamble, of Quakertown, collected many thousands of dollars in fraudulent Worker's Compensation Insurance payments while working at C.R. Fanny's Gentlemen's Club and Sports Bar.
According to the legal Complaint, Gamble claimed she fell and hurt her back while working at a restaurant in 2007; to file for insurance benefits through Worker's Compensation, she told a doctor it was "difficult for her to stand or change positions". Apparently that changing of positions didn't affect the stripper's work at C.R. Fanny's Gentlemen's Club and Sports Bar.
Prosecutors say Gamble received more than $22,000 in Disability benefits. The stripper was arraigned on two counts of Insurance Fraud and one count of theft by deception, later released on her own recognizance. A residential phone listing for the stripper could not be located, though it's possible she may reached at the C.R. Fanny's Gentlemen's Club and Sports Bar.
